When having problems, always try to move to the simplest case. In
this situation, since clip mapping only uses gray scale, reduce your
image to grey scale. (In fact, clip mapping is BINARY, so a one
bitplane image is all you need.)
Try that, tell me how it works. Also, be sure you are mapping along
